Invisalign: At a glance
How Invisalign works
To begin with: this is what the result could look like
During a free consultation appointment, we will show you what your future smile could look like.
We start with your first splint
After the dental laboratory has made your first splint, you test the fit extensively in our practice.
Regular control of the results
On average, therapy lasts between 6 and 18 months. After the first diagnosis, we can determine the duration more precisely.
Invisalign from €29.95 per month
Invisalign is suitable for the correction of malocclusions. Even complex malocclusions such as
- overbite and
can be corrected with Invisalign. You insert the Invisalign splint like a mouthguard. Because the brace is transparent, others will hardly notice it. When you eat, you simply take the brace out, as well as when you brush your teeth. Compared to conventional braces, Invisalign is much more comfortable to use – but it is also more expensive.
The costs depend on the degree of malocclusion(s) and the duration of treatment. Depending on how many plastic splints (aligners) are used during the treatment, the total price increases or decreases.
For mild malocclusions, the treatment costs per jaw start at around €2,000. For severe malocclusions, the price can also be in the range of €5,000. We will find out approximately how long the treatment would take in your case during the first diagnostic examination. Of course, you will receive a cost estimate before the treatment begins.
The duration of the treatment also depends on the degree of malposition. As a rule, the treatment lasts between 6 and 18 months. In very severe cases, the treatment can last several years.
In our free consultation, we examine your teeth and determine a realistic roadmap for possible therapy.
For best results, you should wear the splint for 22 hours a day. After about two weeks, the teeth will have moved as much as desired and the current splint will be replaced with a new one.
If the splint is worn less – for example, only 12 hours a day – the treatment time will be significantly longer. With severe malocclusions, a reduced wearing time can make treatment a matter of impossibility.
